Ether is the currency and Ethereum is the network. Wallets may offer ETH through other networks or services, but use them only when the recipient explicitly requests them.
Open the Ethereum account in your personal wallet and choose Receive. Ethereum addresses usually begin with 0x. Copy the complete address or show its QR code.
An address that begins with 0x is not enough to prove that both sides selected Ethereum. Several compatible networks use a similar address style. Read the network label in both wallets and match the recipient's request.
An Ethereum transfer uses network computing resources. The fee for those resources is called gas and is paid in ETH. Your wallet estimates the fee before you approve the transfer.
Gas prices change with network demand. Review the current wallet estimate and make sure your balance covers the payment amount plus the fee. A purchase provider may charge its own separate fee.
Ethereum also carries tokens, including USDT using the ERC-20 standard. Sending ETH and sending an ERC-20 token are different transfers even though they can use the same receiving account format.
If the recipient asks for USDT on Ethereum (ERC-20), do not send ETH. If you send an ERC-20 token from a personal wallet, you normally need some ETH in that wallet to pay the gas.

Do not choose a network by address appearance alone. Ethereum transfers are normally irreversible.
